How we started.
In 2020, we embarked on our adventure with the Seahorse panga boat , driven by a single purpose: to ensure that every moment at sea, whether working or exploring, is an experience of happiness and freedom. Our experiences with traditional dive shop jobs taught us that these environments are often governed by strict schedules and systematic processes that limit true exploration and connection with the sea. That’s why, at Baja Seahorse, we strive to offer the best service, conveying the best vibes for each exploration to be a unique experience. The Seahorse was designed with this goal in mind, equipped with a 150-liter fuel tank to cover long distances and find the most extraordinary encounters and moments the sea has to offer each day. Our passion is reflected in every one of our oceanic excursions.

The SeaHorse panga boat was built in Los Barriles, Baja California Sur, in 2020. Customized by BajaSeaHorse, it offers a spacious and comfortable environment for our clients. Its lightweight hull and Yamaha 150 HP engine ensure optimal performance at sea. Additionally, it has the perfect height for entering the water, allowing for a smooth and tranquil interaction with the marine life

Mola Mola
The Mola Mola was built in 2023 on a 25-foot hull, using the same hull design as her sister vessel, Seahorse. She is a spacious boat designed to provide comfort, safety, and stability during long-distance trips.
She is equipped with stainless-steel seating with cushions and a 225 HP Yamaha engine, model year 2015, along with a 175-liter fuel capacity, allowing her to travel long distances and explore areas farther from the coast.
The Mola Mola has a capacity for 8 people, making her ideal for exploring and interacting with the Pacific Ocean in comfort.
She was created to complement Seahorse and her crew, expanding our ability to operate longer-distance expeditions while providing a combination of comfort, range, and safety for every ocean adventure.

Ricardo Rubio

Ricardo Rubio was born and raised in San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur. The sea has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. He began his professional career in 2016 as a diving instructor, and since then, his passion has led him to guide ocean safaris, including shark safaris.
Capitan Jose Luis
​José Luis was born and raised in San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. He has been driving boats since he was 14 years old and has been a captain for the past 25 years. His passion for the sea is evident in every aspect of his daily life.
